Mommy’s Funny Medicine
by Russell Barth and Christine Lowe

Mommy’s Funny Medicine is the story of a girl named Heather, whose mother uses medicinal cannabis.
Arguably, it is the world’s first children’s book about this subject.
“With Canada hopefully about to change the laws regarding the possession of cannabis, there has been some talk in the media recently about ’sending the wrong message to children’ about drugs.
Surprisingly, many seem to think that we need to think of something to tell children, but very few seem interested in simply telling kids the truth. So we decided to make a start.”

Well this is my first time hearing about a “tell all” weed book. Lol. I want to go pick it up.

Excellent work Russell and Christine. I have suffered identical worsening symptoms for five years since injuring my back. My knee was operated on three years before that, but the surgery didn’t help. I sure know about the crying and grumpiness that goes along with arthritis. I finally found a doctor who encouraged me to try Cesamet (Nabilone) – but I notice only slight improvement – at night for better sleep – so I wonder about the cost and efficacy of medical marijuana. I guess I’d better get my application in so I can try. I just became a first-time grandma last night – so I want a copy of your book so I can explain “funny medicine”. God bless you. Alison B.
